We wanted her to to have a helmet that was DOT approved for her safety and peace of mind. We are satisfied with it but it is huge! It fits well but there is just so much helmet that after she rides for a while she complians it's so heavy that it's making her neck hurt. With time, I'm sure she'll get used to it. She has no choice really, she either wears it or she doesn't ride! The Medium Helmet according to their measurements were not as accurate (Medium is too big) but my kid loves it. She would not take it off once I put in on her.
